A replacement for an older model, Neovenator was a theropod of the early Cretaceous period from Britain that lived 133-125 million years ago and was discovered on the island of Wight. It reached 7.6 meters in length. The figure represents the carnivorous in a posture of smelling the air to recognize possible prey. Neovenator had deep nostrils and sensory organs in his muzzle that probably recognized the surrounding prey.
