Fractions, Grade 6 is in the "Kumon Math Workbooks: Calculation Skills" series designed for grades 1-6. This workbook will introduce students to subtracting one-digit numbers from one-and-two digit numbers. Exercises include drill decimal and fraction problems as well as other exercises where students fill in the missing numbers by using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division patterns. Activities also emphasize reducing fractions to the lowest possible denominator; factors and multiples; finding the greatest common factor (GCF); finding the lowest common multiple (LCM); addition & subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators; multiplication & division of fractions and mixed numbers; changing decimals into fractions; and calculations with three fractions.
